Setting the Stage with a Stunning Fiberglass Pool
Every great backyard transformation starts with a vision, and for this project, the goal was to take an underutilized outdoor area and turn it into a true private oasis. The undisputed centerpiece of this makeover is the brand-new fiberglass pool we installed. To give it an elegant, high-end finish, we framed the water with beautiful, premium Travertine coping. The natural texture and color of the stone provide a gorgeous contrast to the deep blue of the pool, creating an inviting focal point that immediately draws the eye.
Creating Space for Connection: The Paver Patio & Fire Pit
A beautiful pool is great, but a functional backyard needs space for people to gather, relax, and make memories. We wanted to create an expansive, welcoming area for guests, so we designed and installed a stunning paver patio perfectly centered on the pool.
To take the entertainment value to the next level, we integrated a custom gas fire pit right into the patio space. It offers ultimate convenience—no chopping wood or dealing with smoke—just a quick, easy flame to gather around when the sun dips behind the trees or the autumn evening air gets a little crisp.
Softening the Edges: Softscape & Ambient Lighting
To keep the backyard from feeling too harsh or strictly structural, we knew we had to bring in some natural elements. We softened the perimeter of the space with carefully planned softscaping, incorporating a mix of vibrant plants, small trees, and dark decorative rock that highlights the colors of the patio and pool.
Finally, to ensure this backyard remains just as functional and beautiful at night as it is during the day, we topped the whole project off with strategic outdoor lighting. The soft, ambient lights illuminate the pathways, highlight the new plants, and set the perfect relaxing tone once the sun goes down. We couldn’t be happier with how this complete transformation turned out—it is truly an awesome space!
