Completed Project
This homeowner lives on a slight slope that led down to a beautiful pool. They wanted to protect their investment with a retaining wall and attractive steps that they could use to safely access their pool.
Big Bend Landscaping was happy to help. The owner chose a tumbled block wall, cap, and steps.
Our team excavated the site and created a compacted rock base. We then install approximately 70 linear feet of retaining wall around the pool using 6″ Tumbled block and cap. Our team also installed hardware fabric and drainage lines, leveled the grade behind the wall for maximum drainage, and tied in their downspouts.
Finally, we created steps 6 steps using tumbled brick that gradually increased to a 6-foot-wide exit/entrance at the bottom.
The owner was extremely pleased with the outcome, stating that they really appreciated how careful we were with their property while working there. While we pride ourselves on leaving the property clean and undamaged, we love hearing compliments like this.
